How do merge two guest records?

Often you may find yourself in a situation where you have two records for the same guest or company. This can occur especially with Web bookings when the client enters a different name for themselves than what you have already in your database.

By clicking on the appropriate merge button you can merge one record into another including all related booking records and invoices.

On the following screen use the Quick Search panel on the left to find the record you wish to keep. On the Quick Search panel in the lower half of the screen find the record you want to remove.

By clicking the Merge These Records button over to the right you will move all bookings, invoices and items of correspondence to the record in the upper half before deleteing the record in the lower half.
