MotelMate can be used to manage individually titled apartments, that is apartments or motel units that are owned by more than on person.
Set up
To set this up you will need to go to the Manager Tab and then
Adv Options.
On left hand menu click on Managed Apartments.
On this screen you will have various price settings that you will need to enter.

Check the apartments box if you are using MotelMate for apartment management.
Enter how much of the income you wish to split off for marketing and the manager's fee as a percentage. Linen hire if applicable may be entered here. Other fixed costs for pones, sky TV and Body Corp, are entered here. |
Managing the Rooms
From the main Manager Menu click on Room Data.
On the first page are the details of the room which is simply an alternative layout to the Room Setup listing on the Adv Options page.
Records of any maintenance along with their costs can be written here.
Bookings
All bookings associated with each apartment/room
can be seen on this screen. clicking on the blue 
will take you to the booking details of that record.
Owner
Details of the owner for this particular unit can
be entered here. clicking on the Owner Id drop down will allow
you to change the 'owner' of this apartment (associated payments and invoices
will follow them).
Clicking on the Make New Monthly Invoice button will create a new invoice based on the presets setup in the Adv Options on the Manager Menu.
